Me when I was six taking a picture of myself in the bedroom mirror

When I was six my dad, also a photography enthusiast, gave me a small point-and-shoot camera. He supplied me with film, had my photos developed and printed; and my mom helped me put them in an album. They are laughably bad, as you might expect.

But, from there a love of photography was born.

Since then I have photographed local plays and church events, tried out street photography, shot still lifes and macros, and taken countless photos of family, friends, kids, and pets.

What I always love most, though, is landscape photography.
